As ethOS is based on GrapheneOS which is outside the Google ecosystem, we need a workaround to install google play. Luckily GrapheneOS has presented a solution to get the Google Play Store on your device rather easily.

After booting up for the first time, go to the Google Play Store Manager App (icon above), and you will be able to download the play store directly from there.

Most all apps from the Google Play Store will work as expected.

Please leave the Google Play Store Manager App on the device as it will make sure you have the latest version of the app.
